Location: So/Auckland, 67 Customs Street East, Auckland CBD

Speaker: Dr. Richard Lee

This immersive, 2-day programme will allow you to approach your direct anterior restorations with confidence, allowing you to provide outstanding composite restorations for your patients, whether it be a single class IV restoration or a 10 unit composite veneer case.

Day 1 – Direct Composite

The first day is a full day of lectures and hands on exercises designed to enable you to produce outstanding, lifelike direct anterior composite restorations, predictably and confidently.

Day 2 – Injection Moulding

Day two sees us turn our attention to injection moulding. This technique can look very simple but there are key factors in planning and execution that are vital to understand if we want to produce lifelike restorations that involve minimal clean up. As well as lectures and case studies, delegates will be able to practice the injection moulding technique to create beautiful direct composite veneers on specifically designed typodonts.

Topics will include:

  • Patient assessment and planning
  • Optical anatomy of teeth
  • Colour and opacity
  • When to layer and when single shade will do
  • Planning layered restorations
  • Anterior tooth anatomy
  • Creating outstanding secondary and tertiary anatomy
